🎨4. Issuance Scheme of SMP Token

Token Properties

The SMP Token can be minted/burned when needed, with a maximum issuance limit of 10 billion tokens. Initially, the tokens will be issued under the ERC20 standard on Ethereum, but they are multi-chain tokens that can be bridged to other blockchains for use as needed.

Issuance Scheme

For SMP tokens, our policy will be to initially issue and release only about 20% (TBD), and thereafter issue new tokens that will be minted based on actual token demand. At the same time, we will in principle burn all tokens that come back to us through SMP Platform fees.

The initial breakdown of uses for the initial 20% or so of tokens to be issued will be private sale and partner compensation, investor holdings, and liquidity providing. The remaining 80% will be allocated towards ecosystem rewards, ecosystem funds, and team ownership. After 10 years, all tokens will be available for issuance and circulation.
